Chapter 20 Module
Chapter 20 talks about the start of the first world war and how it had originated. It discusses the the European super power creating amends which they created an alliance with Germany, italy, Austro Hungarian empire, and the triple entente to ensure national security. This peace only lasted so long until a "Serbian nationalist assassinated the heir to the austria Hungarian throne, Archduke Franz Ferdinand"(Page1049). This broke their peace and broke into war by August 1914. The Treaty of Versailles, which officially finished up the war in 1919, demonstrated everything considered to have set up conditions that added to a subsequent World War, after twenty years. Somewhere in the range of 1919 and 1945, another political belief system, known as Fascism, Found Expression across quite a bit of Europe. One party rule was strongly nationalistic, looking to rejuvenate and filter the Nation and to prepare its kin for some excellent assignment. In todays society there is still a form of fascism, what you may call cultists. These individuals are unafraid to be marked fundamentalist and may even utilize the Nazi swastika: they were among the individuals who walked in Charlottesville, Virginia on August 12, 2017, a walk that finished in the passing of a counter-protestor. They may join brutal associations, for example, the Ku Klux Klan in the United States. They are against almost every race and have their own self governed rule and self believes and force them upon others.
