Strayer, Intro to part 4


    In “Strayer's introduction to Part 4”, the reader's are told about the Early Modern Era which was the years between 1450 and 1750. The modern era consisted of three centuries which is the true beginning of our modern world. To begin, the first beginning stage of the modern era or early modern globalization I should say is globalization. This was started and explored by early European explorers such as Christopher Columbus for example and the Atlantic slave trade that enabled Europeans to transport precious metals. With new trade routes being discovered China, Japan, and India were now in the system of having foods and materials traded which expanded the globalization of a new modern civilization.
